What Lysena stands for
Local System for Security, Neural Assistant
The name is an acronym: a local system for security, with a neural assistant. Each word says something Lysena does.

The checks happen on your phone: the messages and links Lysena checks are not sent to anyone.
System
The model does not work alone: lists of dangerous websites and checks on apps, Wi‑Fi and updates work with it.
Security
It spots scams, dangerous links, suspicious apps and unsafe Wi‑Fi networks. It checks messages and links as they arrive, before you open them.
Neural
At its core is a neural network, that is an AI model. It reads messages the way an attentive person would.
Assistant
It warns you and explains why, in plain words. The decision is always yours.

How we work
On the phone, not in the cloud
Messages, links and apps are checked on your phone, and Lysena works offline. Cloud services are extra features, only if you turn them on.
No profiles
What Lysena downloads is the same for everyone: the server does not know who you are, which phone you have or what you check.
Explain, do not scare
Every warning says what happened, why it matters and what to do. The figures we show always have a source.
You decide
Lysena warns and advises. It does not pay, send messages or delete anything without your confirmation.
Who is behind it
Lysena is an independent project, developed in Italy. It is still in development and grows with the people who try it: the beta shows where it gets things wrong, what is missing and how much battery it uses on real phones.
